About Ihor
Ihor is a personal injury attorney at The Sanders Law Firm. He considers the practice of law to be a calling-not just an occupation-and is driven by a strong sense of fairness and justice to represent everyday people injured in accidents. Ihor has been with the firm since 2019. He came to the United States in 2015 from Ukraine, where he was educated in law and practiced for several years. After earning a Master of Laws (LLM) from Washington University School of Law in St. Louis, Ihor worked in a New York real estate, financial lending, mortgage, and foreclosure law firm and honed his motion practice skills. His decision to shift to plaintiffs’ personal injury law, and his desire to land with a leading NY injury firm, led him to his current practice. Ihor’s background and foreign language abilities allow him to better serve the firm’s diverse client base and reduce barriers of access to legal services. In addition to practicing law, Ihor is an avid endurance athlete who has completed fifteen ultramarathons between 2018 and 2021, including finishing in the top three of several races. He also plays Spanish guitar, ballroom dances, and enjoys cycling, martial arts, poetry, philosophy, and religious studies. Ihor is married and has two boys.
