About J.
J. Anderson Ramay, Jr., also known as Andy Ramay, is an attorney who founded The Ramay Law Firm in Hazlehurst, Georgia, in 2016. He graduated from Jeff Davis County High School in 1996, earned a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology, and a Juris Doctorate from Mercer University's Walter F. George School of Law in 2004, graduating in the top 20% of his class. Prior to establishing his own firm, he practiced law for five years with Bush, Crowley, Leverett, and Leggett, LLP in Macon, and then with Ken W. Smith, P.C. and Smith, Ramay and Bennett in Hazlehurst. Andy is actively involved in his community, serving as vice-chairman of the local board of education, a member of the Jeff Davis County Library board, a medical first responder and firefighter, and a public information officer. He has been recognized as the American Institute of Trial Lawyers Litigator of the Year in 2023 and is an Elite Lawyer.
