About J.
J. Michael Parson is an Atlanta native licensed to practice law in both Georgia and Mississippi. He earned his J.D. from the University of Mississippi School of Law, where he served as editor for the Mississippi Law Journal, co-chair of the Moot Court Board, and won awards for highest grades in several courses. He worked eight years defending employers and insurance companies before starting his own firm in 2003, recovering over $30 million in workers’ compensation and automobile accident benefits. In 2023, he brought his practice to Johnson & Ward.
