J. Scott Barnett

Scott is a graduate of Birmingham School of Law and has practiced law for over 20 years. Scott also holds an MBA from the university of South Alabama. Prior to forming Brunson Barnett & Sherrer Scott has worked as counsel for Alabama Office of Courts, served as general counsel for Baldwin County and worked in private practice. Scott is currently handling cases involving business litigation, complex business transactions, contracts, probate and estate matters as well as focusing on his duties as City Attorney for the city of Leeds and as County Attorney for Blount County.
