About Jake
Jake received his Juris Doctor from Chapman Fowler School of Law. In law school, Jake was a staff editor on the Chapman Law Review and a member of Chapman’s Alternative Dispute Resolution board. Jake also took electives focused on Trial Strategy, Client Counseling, and Negotiation to better prepare him as a client advocate and litigation attorney. During his time in Law School, Jake clerked at Slater Slater Schulman, a prominent full-service law firm representing survivors of catastrophic and traumatic events. He later clerked at insurance defense firm Cullins & Grandy. Jake’s experience on the defense side has given him the advantage of knowing how they evaluate claims. Such insight on defense strategies has allowed Jake to provide the best possible representation to his clients. Jake was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland. He moved out to California in 2014 and graduated from the University of Southern California with a B.A. Jake always knew he wanted to be an attorney because he loves client interaction and making a difference in others’ lives. He excels at client communication and ensuring that all clients feel validated throughout the legal process. In his free time, Jake enjoys going on walks with his Shar-Pei Luther, solving New York Times’ crossword puzzles, and cross-country running.
