Jim Trummell joined Valiente Mott in May 2021 as a trial attorney, focusing on drafting pleadings, overseeing discovery, depositions, court appearances, and trial preparation. He previously worked as a trial attorney for a prominent civil litigation firm in Nevada. Jim is a true Nevada native, born and raised in rural towns. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Sports Injury Management and a Master of Science in Physical Therapy from UNLV. He worked as a Physical Therapist for 14 years before attending UNLV’s William S. Boyd School of Law part-time while continuing his physical therapy practice. He is a member of the Nevada Bar Association, the Clark County Bar Association, and the American Physical Therapy Association. He holds licenses to practice law in Nevada and Oklahoma, and maintains his physical therapy license in Nevada. He was honored as a Vegas, Inc. Top Lawyer 2020 and a 2021 Mountain States Rising Star Personal Injury Attorney by SuperLawyers.com.
