James C. Edwards joined the Cogan & Power team as a law clerk in March 2021 and became an Associate in November 2022 after being sworn into the Illinois Bar. He works on cases involving FELA, medical malpractice, motor vehicle accidents, and other personal injury matters. James graduated summa cum laude from the University of Oregon in 2016 and pursued his law degree at the University of Illinois at Chicago School of Law. He is actively involved in community service, serving on the boards of two non-profit organizations focused on education for incarcerated youth and re-entry advocacy.
