James D. ("J.D.") Theiss

Born and raised in Oldham County, Kentucky, JD Theiss has been practicing law in LaGrange, Kentucky since he passed the Kentucky Bar Exam in 2012. In 2014, JD and his father, Jim Theiss, formed THEISS LAW OFFICES, PLLC. JD’s practice has primarily focused on family law, appellate work, estate planning and probate, and criminal defense. JD has also served as general counsel for the La Grange Fire Protection District since 2013. When he’s not practicing law, JD enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter and cooking.
