About James
James H. Lucas, known as “Jay,” received his bachelor’s degree from the University of South Carolina in 1975, an M.P.A in 1981, and his J.D. from USC School of Law in 1987. He became a partner with Lucas, Warr, and White in 1994. He has served as a member of the South Carolina House of Representatives from the 65th District since 1999 and was elected Speaker of the House in December 2014. Jay is based in the Hartsville office.
