About James
James “Jimmy” Courtenay is a founding partner of JJC Law LLC, specializing in transportation, maritime, general personal injury, and insurance litigation. He spent over 7 years defending insurance companies and corporations before shifting to represent injured individuals. Jimmy played football for Ole Miss and LSU, including the 2003 National Championship season. He holds a Masters Degree in Public Administration and a Juris Doctorate from Southern University Law Center. He has successfully handled cases through trial and appeal and is often retained by other attorneys for litigation assistance.
