About James

James focuses his practice on civil litigation and business law. After earning his J.D. from the University of Connecticut School of Law in 2021, James joined Forrest Legal as an associate where he represents individuals and businesses in a wide range of litigation and transactional matters. While in law school, James was Executive Editor of the Connecticut Insurance Law Journal. His research has been published in multiple law journals and covers topics such as the rise of political risk insurance to current debates regarding fair elections and partisan gerrymandering. Prior to law school, James earned a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Connecticut, where he concentrated on elections and political economy.
