James R. Colwell

James is a native of Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He is a proud alumnus of The University of Iowa where he received his B.B.A. in Accounting with a minor in Political Science. Following a brief exposure to public accounting, he returned to The University of Iowa where he received his law degree with distinction. In law school, James was the William E. Riley Workers’ Compensation Scholarship recipient based on his knowledge and development of Iowa Workers’ Compensation law.
