Jim Harris founded Harris Law Offices in 1980. Since that time, Jim has practiced law in Lincoln, Nebraska with an emphasis in workers' compensation and civil litigation from the plaintiff's side. He has been an active member of the Board of Directors of the Nebraska Association of Trial Attorneys. He served as Political Action Chair for that organization from 2000 to 2005 and was Legislative Chair in 2007. He is a past President of the Nebraska Association of Trial Attorneys and board member of the American Association for Justice. He has been admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court. Jim has successfully argued a wide range of workers' compensation cases, including two important Nebraska Supreme Court decisions: Cox v. Fagen and Worline v. ABB Alstrom. Jim's hobbies include history, music, swimming and running.
