James S. Nickelsporn began his career as Assistant State’s Attorney for Prince George’s County in 1972, then served as Assistant Public Defender for Prince George’s County from 1978-1989, including eight years as Chief Trial Attorney for the Juvenile Division. In 1978, he opened the Law Offices of James S. Nickelsporn, P.C. and also became an instructor of business management at Prince George’s Community College, a position he still holds.
