Jarely Castro

Jarely was born in Chihuahua, Mexico. Her family moved to rural Wyoming when she was three years old. She moved to Portland, Oregon, after she was awarded a debate scholarship from Lewis and Clark College, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs. During her undergraduate career, she competed in parliamentary debate and qualified for a variety of national competitions, where she ranked nationally.
