About Jason

Jason D. Witcher, a native of Willingboro, NJ, graduated from Kean University in 1995 and Rutgers School of Law in 2001, becoming a member of the New Jersey Bar in 2002. He served as an assistant prosecutor in Salem County, then joined Helmer, Conley & Kasselman in private practice, where he was certified as a Criminal Trial Attorney. In 2010, he was appointed as the first African American municipal court judge in Salem County history, serving in multiple municipal courts before retiring in August 2023 to return to HCK.
