About Jason

Jay Watkins, one of the founding partners of O’Hara Watkins, has been practicing in Alabama courts for over 20 years. He represents various businesses, including banks, manufacturers, and small businesses, in litigation, trials, and arbitration. His practice areas include bankruptcy and creditors’ rights, personal injury/insurance defense, commercial collections/foreclosure, loan workouts, compliance with federal and state banking laws, and employment law. He is a graduate of The University of Alabama School of Law and served as a federal law clerk. Mr. Watkins is recognized as a 'Rising Star' by Alabama Super Lawyers and holds an AV Preeminent® Peer Review Rating in Martindale-Hubbell.
