JD Patel is an Associate Attorney at the Law Offices of Tragos, Sartes & Tragos. He focuses his entire practice on fighting for the rights of individuals, whether it be in a civil or criminal courtroom. Mr. Patel represents victims of car accidents, wrongful death, and premises liability cases, as well as individuals accused of a variety of crimes, ranging from minor offenses to serious felonies. Prior to joining the Law Offices of Tragos, Sartes & Tragos, Mr. Patel was a prosecutor for over 3.5 years. During those years, Mr. Patel learned the complex parts of the legal system and how prosecutors think when evaluating and building cases. Mr. Patel was part of the Traffic Homicide Unit at the prosecutor’s office, where he learned to specialize in crimes such as DUI Manslaughter, Vehicular Homicide, Reckless Driving with Serious Bodily Injury, and Leaving the Scene with Death and/or Serious Bodily Injury. His experience as a prosecutor also gives him unique insights into the workings of the criminal justice system, which he uses to navigate his clients through the legal process. Mr. Patel is an experienced trial attorney having tried numerous jury trials ranging from first degree misdemeanors to first degree felonies.
