About Jeremy

Jeremy D. Wiss, Esq was inspired by his father, Scott L Wiss, Esq., to pursue a career in law from a young age. He earned a Bachelor of Science, cum laude, in Political Science from Quinnipiac University in three years, and a Doctorate of Jurisprudence, magna cum laude, from Quinnipiac University School of Law. During law school, Mr. Wiss advocated for veterans denied service-connected PTSD claims with the U.S. Department of Veteran’s Affairs. He was awarded the Excellence in Clinical Legal Education Award and the Service to the Law School Award for his work with the Connecticut Veteran’s Legal Center. He was also an active member of the Mock Trial Honor Society and the Society for Dispute Resolution. His academic achievements include the Superior Classroom Performance Award, the Distinguished Academic Achievement Award in Bankruptcy and Creditors' Rights, the Distinguished Academic Achievement Award in Elder Law, and the Connecticut Bar Association's Real Property Award. He has previously defended insurance companies, providing him with insider knowledge to anticipate opposing strategies and build powerful, results-driven cases for his personal injury clients.
