About Jerry

Jerry B. Grimes, a Davidson County native, began practicing law with Beamer Barnes in 1963 after graduating from Wake Forest University School of Law. He is a founding partner of the firm, which eventually became Barnes, Grimes, Bunce & Fraley. Jerry initially practiced general law but later focused almost exclusively on criminal cases, particularly DWI cases. He is a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and an active member of several veteran’s organizations.
