About Jerry
Jerry is a seasoned trial lawyer based in Knoxville, Tennessee, where he routinely practices in both state and federal court. With over 35 years of experience, Jerry focuses on mechanic liens, construction litigation, and personal injury matters. His extensive knowledge of mechanics' and materialmen's liens has made him a key contributor to Tennessee’s lien law reforms, including the 2007 amendments and the Lien Law Corrections Bill of 2008. Jerry also played a significant role in the revisions to the Lien Law enacted in 2015. In addition to his legal practice, Jerry is a leader in the legal community, having served as the Chair of the Executive Council of the Tennessee Bar Association Construction Law Section. He continues to serve as the Section's Legislative Liaison and is currently a Delegate for the Sixth District in the Tennessee Bar Association House of Delegates. Jerry also has judicial experience, having served as the Municipal Judge for the Town of Farragut.
