About Jim

James "Jim" McKenzie (1948-2016) was the founder of McKenzie Law Firm, established in 1975. He was valedictorian of his high school class, graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of West Florida with a B.A. in Philosophy in 1970, and received his Juris Doctorate with honors from the University of Florida's law program in 1973. He was recognized as one of the top 100 lawyers in Florida by Super Lawyers Magazine in 2006 and received numerous other awards and honors throughout his career.
