About Joe
Joe M. Wearmouth is an attorney 'Of Counsel' at Scherr Law Firm. He graduated as valedictorian from Mitchell Hamline School of Law in 2009. He also studied history at Central College, Pella, Iowa, where he earned a B.A. with Dean's List honors, and undertook Master's Work in History at Harvard University. He has practiced law for almost 20 years in both private and public sectors, including complex civil litigation at AmLaw 100 firms, as an in-house litigation attorney for federal law enforcement agencies, and as a special assistant United States attorney prosecuting felony drug and firearm offenses. He also served as a staff attorney for the Texas Eighth Court of Appeals. He is licensed in Texas since 2013.
