About Johanna
Johanna is a Cincinnati native, graduating from Sycamore High School. After high school, she attended Wilmington College, majoring in Political Science. Before attending Salmon P. Chase College of Law, Johanna spent six years in the insurance industry, as a property and casualty adjuster. Adjusting homeowners claims from the insurance perspective was an enlightening experience. Since law school, Johanna has spent most of her time representing individuals and small business owners in different areas of the law, honing her litigation and mediation skills. After spending a year in a municipal law environment, Johanna knew she needed to return to an area of the law where her experience would make a difference in the lives of her clients. With construction law experience, coupled with the claims adjusting experience over the years from representing injured parties against insurance companies, and her claims insurance background, Johanna joined the Law Offices of Blake R. Maislin, LLC, in October of 2023, as part of the first party homeowner’s insurance ‘team’ of lawyers. Our purpose is to bring a resolution of our client’s existing disputes with their own insurance company.
