Mr. McDonnell graduated from Syracuse University College of Law and was admitted to practice law in New York in 1983 and in New Jersey in 1984. He practiced in New York for one year and has practiced exclusively in New Jersey since 1984. For twenty years, he practiced at a firm in Morristown, New Jersey, specializing in employment civil rights and general litigation. In 1998, Mr. McDonnell was awarded an 'AV' rating by Martindale Hubbell, the highest rating given by the nationally recognized attorney rating service. In 2003, Mr. McDonnell moved his practice to Warren County to establish the McDonnell Artigliere firm with Leonard J. Artigliere. Mr. McDonnell continues to specialize in litigation for plaintiffs and defendants in employment, civil rights, consumer fraud, and general litigation in the Superior Court, Appellate Division, and Supreme Court.
