John McGahee, Jr. served ten years in the Air Force Intelligence Agency, stationed in California, England, and Japan, with deployments to the Middle East. After his military service, he worked as an engineer for Lockheed Martin before pursuing a legal career. He joined the Ohio Department of Correction, rising through the ranks while attending Capital University School of Law evening program.
