About John
John P. Maley is a native of Burlington, Vermont, who began private practice in 1968. He represented individuals and families in personal injury and medical malpractice cases. He was selected annually by his peers for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America® since 1995 and was named Burlington Vermont’s 'Lawyer of the Year' for Medical Malpractice Law in 2014 and for Personal Injury Litigation in 2012. He retired effective June 30, 2023, after 54 years of legal practice. He is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers (1999).
