About Jonathan

Originally from Charleston, West Virginia, Jonathan Hackworth obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree from West Virginia University and his JD from Stetson University College of Law in May 2010. Admitted to the Florida Bar in 2010, he gained extensive trial experience as an Assistant Public Defender, handling over twenty-five jury trials. He later practiced homeowner’s property insurance litigation, personal injury, and wrongful death suits. Jonathan is actively involved in community organizations like Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Tampa and Children’s Dream Fund. In 2014, he was recognized by the Tampa Bay Business Journal as one of the top '30 Under 30'. At Hackworth Law, he focuses on a client-centered approach, combining large firm services with small firm familiarity.
