Jonathan O. Michaels is the lead trial attorney at Peña & Kahn, PLLC, where he also plays a key role in managing the firm’s day-to-day operations. He earned his Juris Doctor from Brooklyn Law School in 1995 while working for the City of New York Law Department, where he advanced to senior trial attorney. He was admitted to the New York State Bar in 1996 and is also admitted to practice in the Southern and Eastern District Courts of New York. A highly skilled and aggressive advocate, Mr. Michaels has secured numerous million-dollar verdicts for his clients. His dedication to justice and exceptional trial skills were recognized when he received The Association of the Bar of the City of New York Prize for Outstanding Achievement in 2000. He was honored as Plaintiff’s Attorney of the Year in 2019 by the Institute of Jewish Humanities.
