Joseph J. Garcia “Jay” is a Mexican-American Attorney originally from Winston-Salem, N.C. He earned an Associate’s degree in Criminal Justice from Guilford Technical Community College (GTCC), where he was involved in the Student Government Association and was President of the Spanish Club. He then earned two Bachelor’s degrees, one in Criminal Justice and one in Political Science, from East Carolina University (ECU).
