About Joseph

Joseph Lotarski graduated from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio with a Bachelor of Arts in History and Political Science. He then attended Western Michigan University Thomas M. Cooley Law School where he obtained his Juris Doctor. He passed the Michigan Bar Exam in 2019 and was admitted to practice law in the State of Michigan. Following law school, Joseph served as a judicial law clerk in Cass County, Michigan for the Honorable Susan L. Dobrich and the Honorable Mark Herman. During his clerkship, Joseph was exposed a variety of civil, criminal, family, and probate proceedings, as well as tasked with performing legal research and writing on a variety of legal issues to assist the judges. Joseph’s legal experience also includes serving as an assistant prosecutor as well as a civil litigator handling matters including insurance defense and bodily injury claims. His current practice focuses on insurance defense litigation. Away from the office, Joseph is an avid sports fan and enjoys watching and attending sporting events. He also enjoys spending time with friends and family as well as traveling.
