Joseph W. Walker

Joseph W. Walker was raised in western Pennsylvania, the son of a coal miner. After graduating from high school, he joined the United States Army. Joe became a helicopter and pilot instructor. He received several Distinguished Flying Crosses and other commendations for his efforts during two tours in the Vietnam War. After the war, Joe attended undergraduate school at Rowan University, while continuing his military service in the Delaware National Guard.
