Attorney J.R. Ramirez has over fifteen years of law enforcement experience with the Mission Police Department and McAllen Police Department, serving as a street patrol officer, CSI, SWAT Operator, and detective. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice in 2009 and a Master’s Degree in Public Administration in 2011, both from the University of Texas-Pan American. He received his Juris Doctorate from Texas Southern University in December 2015 and was licensed by the Supreme Court of Texas in 2016.
