Julie Winn is a York-based legal specialist on asbestos. Since 2010, she has been Chair of the national Joint Union Asbestos Committee (JUAC), working closely with the Department for Education steering group, Asbestos in Schools (AIS), to make UK schools safe from asbestos. She has made submissions to government consultations on reforming mesothelioma claims.
