About Katharine
Katharine Brereton has a practice focused on civil litigation with an emphasis on the representation of governmental entities, business entities, and insurance companies in employment matters in state and federal court, both at the trial and appellate levels. She has a proven track record of successfully defending clients in proceedings before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and reciprocal state agency. Katharine advises and provides strategic support to private and public sector employers on a range of workplace matters. Her practice also includes civil rights and ski area defense litigation on matters involving personal injury, premises liability, and § 1983 constitutional claims. Katharine represents ski areas in Idaho and cities, counties, school districts, libraries, colleges and universities, and other state and local entities.
