About Kenneth
Ken is a lifelong resident of Jackson County. He graduated magna cum laude from Spring Arbor University with a B.A., and then went on to earn his Law Degree from Western Michigan University, Thomas M. Cooley Law School, graduating cum laude. Ken and his wife have two grown children, all continue to reside in the Jackson area. Ken is a member of the Michigan Bar Association and the Jackson County Bar Association. He has served on the Community Corrections Board; Spring Arbor Township Public Safety Board; Jackson County Family Services and Children’s Aid Board; and the Child and Parent Safe Haven Project. Ken is an experienced trial attorney who has successfully tried criminal cases ranging from drunk driving, assault and battery and criminal sexual conduct, to a gang-related murder case. He has handled hundreds of family law cases and is often appointed by the Jackson County Circuit Courts to represent children as the guardian ad litem. Ken is a trained Domestic Relations Mediator and has successfully mediated countless divorce cases. Ken has also acted as Arbitrator in many family law disputes.
