About Kristen
Kristen E. Lonergan grew up in Appleton, Wisconsin. She studied Political Science, Sociology and Environmental Studies at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and graduated from the University of Wisconsin Law School in 2010. Kristen is a compassionate advocate whose primary practice areas are family law and personal injury. She is admitted to practice law in the State of Wisconsin and the United States District Court for the Western District of Wisconsin. She is a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin and serves on the Board for the Litigation Section of the State Bar, where she was elected Secretary in 2023 and Vice Chair in 2024. She is heavily involved in the statewide high school mock trial program. Kristen is also an active member of the Wisconsin Association for Justice, serving on the Board of Directors and participating in the Women’s Caucus. She is a past-chair of the New Lawyers Section and a past-president of the Marathon County Bar Association. Kristen has been living and working in Wausau since 2011 and is an active member of the community, serving as President of the Board of Directors for the Marathon County Child Development Agency (Head Start).
