Kristie Mouney was born in Lafayette, Louisiana and grew up in the Orleans area. After high school, Kristie graduated from Louisiana State University in 1999. After college, Kristie began a career as an Algebra teacher. After 3 years of teaching, Kristie attended law school and earned a Juris Doctorate from Tulane University Law School in 2005.
