LaShanda DeJoy Crenshaw, a native of Fort Wayne, Indiana, relocated to Alabama to attend Alabama State University. While attending Alabama State University, she became a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated and received her B.A. Degree in 2002.
