About Laurel

Laurel Nugent is a founding partner of Romaine & Nugent, focusing primarily on trust and estate planning. She is licensed to practice law in Florida and Oregon and is a Florida Supreme Court Certified County Mediator. She graduated from Vermont Law School with master's degrees in law, also studying at the University of Cergy-Pontoise in France. She formed her firm Nugent Law, PA, in 2012, which merged to become Romaine & Nugent in 2020. She has volunteered as a mentor and guest speaker and is an original member and former board member/head coach of the Heart & Soul Dragon Boat Club.
