About Lauren

Attorney Lauren Calta has been protecting the rights of the injured since 1995, dedicating her practice exclusively to representing victims of negligence. She graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice from St. John’s University in 1988 and earned her Juris Doctorate degree from Brooklyn Law School in 1991, where she received the American Jurisprudence Award in Evidence. She began her career as an Assistant District Attorney with Kings County District Attorney’s Office. In 1995, she moved to Florida and transitioned to personal injury law. In 2017, she co-founded Zervos & Calta, PLLC with Angela Zervos. She is licensed in New York and Florida and admitted in the Middle District of Florida. She is a lifetime member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum and the Multi Million Dollar Advocates Forum. She handles various personal injury cases, including wrongful death, motor vehicle accidents, and medical malpractice, and has been involved in mass tort litigation.
