Retired assistant district attorney of Jefferson Parish and Orleans Parish, Laurence Alterman has handled all aspects of felony prosecution, Juvenile, misdemeanor, and traffic court. He has been appointed as a Traffic Hearing Officer in Jefferson Parish, the City of Harahan, and the City of Westwego. He lectured criminal Law at the Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Academy, Gretna Police Academy, and Westwego Police Academy. He also served as Indigent Defender Board Jefferson Parish and Assistant Public Defender State of Connecticut. He has years of experience successfully litigating Criminal Defense cases.
