Lawrence A. Schwartz

Lawrence A. Schwartz, a retired County and Circuit Court judge, served in the Miami-Dade County Court beginning in 1991. He was elevated to the 11th Judicial Circuit bench in 1997 where he served for 22 years presiding over cases in the civil, criminal and probate divisions. Lawrence practiced law for 12 years before taking the bench. Prior to attending law school, Mr. Schwartz taught sixth grade for the Miami-Dade County School Board at Lake Stevens Elementary School, located in Carol City, Florida.
