About Leah

Leah Burkhead has exclusively practiced workers’ compensation law throughout her legal career. She co-founded Mark & Burkhead in 1992, representing injured workers and members of major labor unions in Kansas City. She is licensed in Kansas, Missouri, Iowa, and Illinois. She earned her J.D. from the University of Kansas School of Law in 1990 and a B.S. in Finance from the University of Missouri in 1987.
