About Leah

Leah C. Garrett is an Associate Attorney driven by a lifelong passion for helping people through the legal system. She earned her law degree from the University of Alabama School of Law in 2009, where she interned with the Fourteenth Judicial Circuit of Florida’s Office of the Public Defender, the Animal Welfare Institute, and the DeKalb County Child Advocacy Center, and practiced in the Domestic Violence Law Clinic. She received her school’s Public Interest Certificate and Dean’s Community Service Award and was inducted into the Order of the Samaritan. After graduation, Leah gained valuable courtroom experience as a prosecutor for the State Attorney’s Office for the First Judicial Circuit of Florida, handling misdemeanor and felony cases. She later moved to Colorado and transitioned to civil law, fighting for injured individuals against corporations. Outside of work, Leah enjoys exploring Denver, traveling, and spending time with her family, friends, and pets.
