About Lemuel
Lemuel Stigler grew up in Indianapolis. He is a graduate of Arsenal Technical High School and Wabash College. He has a Ph.D candidate certificate in Linguistics from Indiana University. His law degree is from University of Iowa, College of Law. Before law school, Lemuel lived three years in Kano, Kano State, Nigeria, teaching at Bayero University. While in law school, he worked on the appellant’s briefs in Thompson v. Best, 478 N.E.2d 79 (Ind. Ct. App. 1985). Since law school, Lemuel has served as a private attorney, hearings officer, and a public defender. He spends much of his time defending clients' constitutional rights. Lemuel is a homebody and loves to spend his spare time with his wife. He is always trying to convince her that forensic scientists should have to abide by the falsification principle just like other scientists! Racquetball is his favorite sport, even though he is too out of shape to play!
