Linda McGuire

Linda McGuire was raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma and graduated from Tulsa Memorial High School. She obtained a B.A. in Letters and graduated with High Honors from the University of Oklahoma. In 1990, she obtained her J.D. from the University of Oklahoma. After graduating from law school, she worked briefly as a family lawyer, and then became a Public Defender in the General Appeals Division of the Appellate Public Defender’s Office (now the Oklahoma Indigent Defense System) where she handled over thirty (30) appeals per year for indigent criminal defendants.
