About Lonnie
Attorney Lonnie Cooper has served the law in several unique ways. Before becoming a lawyer, Lonnie worked in drug enforcement for the police. His focus was on doctors, pharmacists, and pharmaceutical companies that broke the law. Enjoying the legal side of police cases, Lonnie acquired a law degree from the University of Mississippi and moved back to Southern Indiana for legal practice. Lonnie previously served more than 2 years with the Peace Corps in the Philippines and taught criminal justice and legal studies to students at Ivy Tech Community College. In recent years, Lonnie and his wife, Vicki Carmichael, have enjoyed taking students on international trips.
