About Loyd

Loyd Bourgeois is an accident and personal injury lawyer, an author, and the founder of Louisiana law firm, Loyd J Bourgeois Injury & Accident Lawyer. He has an engineering degree from LSU and graduated cum laude from Tulane Law School. His journey to law was sparked by a personal battle against an insurance company that denied benefits to a relative. This experience led him to commit to helping people injured in accidents stand up to insurance companies and government systems. He opened his firm in September 2010, focusing on personal injury law. Loyd is also involved in community work, coaching sports, and serving on the Board of Directors for the United Way of St. Charles, St. Charles Parish Rotary Club, and Show of Love Gala, Split Second Foundation. He is a native Louisianian and a passionate fan of LSU, Saints, and Pelicans.
