Mariliza “Mari” Williams was born and raised in Eagle Pass, Texas. She received her bachelor’s degree from Texas A & M University and went on to Thomas M. Cooley Law School to obtain her law degree. While in law school, Mari was an Associate Editor of the Thomas M. Cooley Journal of Practical and Clinical Law. Mari’s hard work and dedication landed her on the Dean’s list throughout her law school career. She began her legal career as a Laredo injury attorney and accident lawyer in Laredo with Nevárez Law Group in 2014 where she handles all aspects of litigation from the filing of the lawsuit to trial. Mari is married to Joseph Williams and together they have two children.
